Auburn has a great many events going  on through out the year. In the spring, The Auburn-Williams Lions’s Club has adopted the task of organizing the  community yard sale called Treasure Hunt Days. For 3 days, you can hunt for that hidden treasure that might be right next door or down the street while having fun talking to your friends and neighbors. 

Summer is the time for Cornfest and it’s packed full of great things to do and eat each year! Come ride the rides, watch the fireworks, listen to a great concert and don’t forget to get your seat early for the parade. It’s a great time for the whole family.

The Auburn Farmers Market runs from May to October on Thursdays from 4pm to 7pm and Saturdays from 7am to 1pm at the new Farmers Market Pavilion in Auburn Park. Stop by and get some great fresh vegetables or some tasty treats for your dinner table.

During July & August we have Movies Under the Moonlight. Free family movies are shown in downtown Auburn in the parking lot of Tri City Furniture sponsored by local Auburn Merchants. There are pre-movie activities, the Boy Scouts serve up great hot dogs and cold drinks.

The Auburn-Williams Lions’s Club hosts an eyeRide, a biking event to help the Michigan Eye Bank for the blind. We have many different golf events that support different area charities. 

The Auburn Jaycees put on many fantastic events from Craft Races, to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, to the Ugly Sweater 5k to even Snowball Softball the Jaycees make it fun. If you have some spare time and don’t know what to do or want to be part of a great group, they’re always looking for members too.

Come the Holiday Season we have the Santa Fun Fest. A great time for the kids to meet Santa and have their picture taken with him. Crafts, treats and a free eye screening for kids 6 and under  by the Auburn Williams Lions Club. A great way to start the holiday season. 

Don’t forget to decorate your homes and businesses with great holiday lights. The City of Auburn hosts an annual lighting contest each year for the best decorated houses and businesses, We just love driving around town and seeing the beauty of the season.

These are just a few of the community events we have here in Auburn. Our local churches and other community groups host many special events during the year. The Auburn Hotel does a great job putting up notices for most of them on their sign to let everyone know what is going on.
