Street System: Managing the street reconstruction program (in conjunction with the City Engineer) surface maintenance, street sweeping and repair, snow & ice control, storm drainage, signs & markings, brush pickup (April – November), tree trimming & removal (within right of way), traffic services, etc.

Sanitary Sewer System: Operation and maintenance of sanitary sewer system including lift station maintenance, system cleaning, sewer connection inspections, utility location, drainage maintenance, etc.

Drinking Water System: Operation and maintenance of the City’s water services (ensuring safe drinking water to the residents of Auburn) including water distribution, water quality testing, water main repairs, hydrant maintenance & flushing, service taps & disconnections, water meter installation, etc.

Parks & Recreation: Structures & ground maintenance, playground equipment maintenance, etc.

General Duties: General upkeep and maintenance of all city owned buildings, preventative maintenance and repair of all city owned vehicles and other equipment.
