On Thursday Sept 26 around 10 am the City of Auburn will be once again switching from the city of Midlands water supply to the emergency back up supply from Bay County’s water system.
A trail run back on July 23rd we experienced no problems during a 3-hour changeover, and we expect the same results this time.
The city of Midland is making a new connection on Rockwell Road and expects this temporary switch to only last 6-8 hours.
Although no changes in water quality were noticed during the trial run, we still want to advise people that there may be the possibility of cloudy water that should only be temporary and is not a health threat to residents.
If you still experience cloudy water on Friday, the 27th please run a bathtub or an outside hose bib for 5 minutes and then flush out all your faucets , if this doesn’t clear it up , please contact city hall .
